Womxn Get Angry Too
Emotions are energy in motion and when they do not get expressed that energy stays trapped in the body, creating physical and mental blockages. No matter your gender identity, people who have been socially conditioned as female are generally taught to suppress their anger.

Time & Location
May 02, 2020, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Mangalam Center, 2018 Allston Way, Berkeley, CA 94704, USA
About the event
Part of the human experience is to feel the full range of emotions, no exceptions. Emotions are energy in motion and when they do not get expressed that energy stays trapped in the body, creating physical and mental blockages. No matter your gender identity, people who have been socially conditioned as female are generally taught to suppress their anger.
If you’re someone who gets angry everyday, this workshop will be an opportunity to release those emotions from your body. If you’re someone who doesn’t get angry, this will be an opportunity for you to free blocked energy that has been trapped underneath the surface.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn to become friends with anger
- Release blocked emotions from your body
- Experience more mental clarity

Host
Forest Williams (he / him) is an inner child coach and compassion activist. He describes the repressed anger from throughout his life as a volcano ready to erupt at the slightest touch. He has a consistent practice of exploring his anger and releasing it bit by bit so he can live with more presence and inner peace.
