Succulent: A Kinky Queer Play Party

Play parties are sex positive spaces that provide opportunity to heal from sexual shame and connect authentically with others.

Sex is not shameful. Neither is your body! You have a body. Come bring it and be with other bodies! Your body does so much for you throughout the day! We’re gonna celebrate the joys of the human body together :)

This will be a “brave space” for you to explore your edges, whether that looks like just observing the room, hooking up with your partner in a shared room of people, or meeting someone new to play with! You are invited to participate as much or as little feels good to you!

Please arrive no later than 6:45pm. Once the doors close, they will remain closed. Please understand, this is important to maintain the integrity of the space.

No refunds for late arrivals.

Community Values: Spacious Consent

Consent is an ongoing, fluid agreement between two or more people. Spacious consent takes power dynamics (patriarchy, ableism, etc.) into consideration and creates the space for someone to check in with themselves and provide an honest answer. If it’s not a “hell yea!” it’s a “no.”

This is a Sober Event

We encourage folks to be fully present (mind, body, spirit) so they can connect authentically and provide crystal clear consent. Please don’t show up inebriated and leave the alcohol at home.

Safety + Sex Positivity

We don’t use shaming language like “clean” or “dirty” to describe our STI status. We don’t feed into sex negative paradigms when we talk about ourselves, our bodies, and our sexual health. This is a shame-free space. For more on how to talk about STI’s in a sex positive way click here.

Proof of Covid Vaccination is required to enter.

You will be sent a registration form in the confirmation email that you are required to fill out. Don’t worry, it’s quick and simple ;)

Accessibility

This will be a low-scent space. Help the larger community access precious spaces like these by refraining from using synthetic scents.

Scented products to avoid/watch out for:

• Laundry detergent
• Shampoo/conditioner
• Soap
• Perfume/cologne
• Lotion

Please make your best effort to reduce synthetic scents as much as possible so folks with sensitivities can play and enjoy themselves too :)

Location

We will be gathering in a secret SOMA location that is accessible by BART. You will receive an email the day of the event with the exact address.

To enter the location there is a flight of stairs you will need to walk up. There’s no elevator, unfortunately 😕

Who Should I Bring?

This play party is for queer and trans folks. Come single, coupled, throupled or with a friend! We’re looking forward to playing together :)

What Should I Wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel sexy! Your clothes are more than likely to come off anyways, so...😅

What Toys Should I Bring?

There will be water based and silicone lube to share. We encourage you to bring your own lube to ensure your comfort is met. We will also provide condoms (latex & non-latex), gloves and dental dams.

We also encourage you to bring whatever toys and kink gear make your queer heart happy :)

A few toys will be provided including a sling, an inversion table, constraints + a designated flogging area.

Snacks

Feel free to bring your own food and (non-alcoholic) drinks. Though, tea and snacks will be provided, including vegan and gluten free options.

Volunteer Opportunities

Angels are volunteers who provide emotional support to the community and do light hospitality (tidying up the space as needed, checking people in, refilling tea, etc.).

There will be a total of 6 angels throughout the night who will be separated into two (1 hour) shifts. Volunteer as an angel and receive a discount in exchange for your service.

Your Hosts

Forest Williams (he/him) is a Spiritual Slut and Intimacy Coach. He helps people feel more secure in their relationships and sexuality so they can let more love into their lives. Forest is white, queer, trans, and polyamorous.

Hazel Lockhart (they/them) is a genuine weirdo who has been geeking out on plant medicine theory, the vast landscapes of human bodies, and human interactions. They spend their days studying, volunteering, writing, and being your favorite sarcastic dyke.
